Something I've been wondering for a while - how do people make sp out of fragging? The cheapest item I can see is worth 500sp and crystals are worth approx 1200sp. That seems like a lot of effort for little profit...what am I missing?

even just in a day of questing you'll inevitably end up with a lot of low-value items that are hardly worth selling. you can frag a lot of items at once, and most have a chance to give more than one crystal. then when the crystal shop restocks something particularly rare and valuable, you can snap it up and sell it for a profit.

but i think for most people it's less about profiting and more about being able to quickly and easily convert their practically-worthless items, which just sort of build up on their own over time, into a currency that can be stored up and spent on something nice.

I don't know about others, but mostly I frag items I get for free. Fodder from games, quests, events, etc. Then anything you are able to buy/sell becomes profit. I also don't generally sell my crystals, I hoard them for stuff I want like books and the Universal remote.

Mostly my "profit" comes from not buying stuff I can exchange for crystals I essentially got for free.
